Volunteer Fundraising Officer for The Mashi Foundation – Cambridgeshire

The Mashi Foundation is a small grass roots charity,
registered in the UK and working with children living in poverty in Ecuador.

The charity works to support children to access education
and health care.  The primary focus of the work is in a rural community where we offer a nursery provision and support
the local school.

We are a unique charity who is looking to develop and build
on our existing work.  We make a real
difference to the quality of children’s lives and are looking for someone to
help us grow and progress.

  • You will be someone who has experience of
    fundraising within the charity sector, good knowledge of fundraising in many
    areas, such as Corporate, Events, Community and the use of Social Media in
    Fundraising.
  • You will also have some experience of writing
    materials, preferably requesting support/funding and of project planning and/or
    co-ordination preferably gained within a fundraising environment.
  • You will be a highly effective communicator,
    organised and methodical, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and on
    your own initiative. You must be an effective team player who has excellent
    attention to detail, strong IT skills as well as good interpersonal skills.
  • You will be someone who is a real self starter
    and can hit the ground running!
  • You will also be firmly committed to the aims
    and values of The Mashi Foundation.

This role necessitates an immediate start.

You will be able to commit to a minimum of 5 hours per week,
with flexibility.
